Merry Christmas!

I know that most of you who read my blog are very busy at the moment with preparing for Christmas. You may be fortunate enough to have family visiting you at this time or you may be travelling elsewhere for Christmas to spend time with family or friends. Others, like myself, will be having a quiet Christmas.

There will be no pitter-patter of little feet here on Christmas Day as....

...the Outback girls are working at the Inn at the moment...

...and are enjoying the delights of the Tropical coast for a short time. Their Dad is very good at  sending me photos on his mobile phone and it helps make me feel closer to them.

The Nativity Scene is in place ...

The tree has been put up....

...and this calendar given to me many years ago by a good friend, reminds me of what Christmas is really all about and there is no mention of stress, spending, crowded shops and traffic jams in shopping centre car parks at all. :-)

So I would like to wish everyone a peace-filled and relaxing Christmas and I hope that you enjoy the company of those you are with. If you are going to be alone on Christmas Day for whatever reason, I would encourage you to reach out to someone else who may be lonely and you may find that you both have the most wonderful day.

Merry Christmas everyone!
