I know that Joolz was having the same trouble as myself in this post. She probably has had her problem fixed as well by now but I will tell you what to do if you have the same issue in the future.
I was on my iPad when I got a Telstra message saying something like I have a duplicate internet session where two parties are trying to log in with the same username at the same time. Change your password. Well, I just ignored the message for a while then gave in, changed my account password and then I couldn't connect up to the internet. Now the technician did explain why that happens but it went in one ear and out the other of course but the solution is to turn your modem off and pull out the plug, (can't remember which one but just pull them all out to be sure) then reinsert them and turn the modem back on and everything should be fine and dandy again.
However, if you are obedient like I am and DO change your password then you have to change the password on your modem as well. How do you do that you ask? Well, because we didn't have a Telstra modem I was advised to ring the maker of the modem and I would be told how to do that. However, as the nice young girl couldn't understand English very well and didn't really seem to understand that I was on the verge of throwing the computer out the back door, I called it a night and spent the weekend tethering my prepaid phone to my iPad to get my internet kick now and again.
This morning I rang the technician who arrived at lunchtime and had the internet back up and running in no time. English is not his first language either but being able to speak face to face really made the difference. End of story!
Then to top off a nice day a parcel arrived in the mail and there were two pairs of hand knitted slippers inside from one of lovely Down to Earth Forum members who told me at our Caloundra catch-up that she was sending me some slippers to keep my feet warm in winter. How sweet is that!
Now I want to learn how to knit them as it doesn't look too difficult...I hope! Aren't there some nice people in the world?
After all the stress I told myself I needed to get a life so took a calming walk around the garden. I found these little flowers in one of the many bromeliads which I didn't realise, until I uploaded the photo to the computer, have ants crawling all over them :-) I really need to wear my glasses more often.
The Chuzzle cucumber is growing at a rate of knots whereas the other cucumbers are dying off now.
The CEO's dahlias are still looking stunning and probably will continue to do so for much longer. It is nice to finish a blog post with something beautiful, isn't it?
