Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all my readers. I hope you have a wonderful Easter Sunday as we celebrate new life.

Don't you love the boiled egg cover I picked up on special from an Easter display shelf? I did try out a crochet pattern so that I could make a couple to take up to my granddaughters when I visit soon but it turned out a bit wonky so I thought I would buy them these lovely ones which were quite cheap while I continue to practice. :-) My crochet skills are improving though little by little.

So have a wonderful Resurrection Sunday wherever you will be and, if you are on the roads, do stay safe.

  2. Happy Easter to you and your men as well. Did you load them up with chocolate? I spread ours out over the weekend in little bits. I was given so much from boys at work and i had some already put away. Today is last day of indulgence then its back on the wagon. I love your little egg cover. I dont think ive sat at a table and had boiled eggs for breakfast in 20 years.

    1. Happy Easter to you too, Lynda. No, only one Red Tulip bunny for our son that's all. No chocolate for me and hubby doesn't need any either. We are going to my sister's place for lunch and she will have some junk food there I am sure :-) I will turn away!

    1. The egg cover I made was a little out of shape but I will try a different pattern next time. I mean..how hard can they be to make? :-)

  5. Happy Easter. We got muddy in all that rain. Our son was eating mud and chocolate eggs. I think he enjoyed the mud more. I seriously try and stop him, but sometimes he's too quick for me. ;)

    1. Chris, we only got 27mm of rain over the whole of Easter but still any rain is appreciated. It looks like it has all moved out to sea now so back to the sunshine. A cold breeze was blowing this afternoon which was telling me that winter is on the way up here on the hill.
