Last meeting for 2015 ~ Simple Living Toowoomba

On the 21st November we will have the final Simple Living Toowoomba meeting for 2015.

There have been so many informative workshops this year including the very popular Rag Rug Workshop   .....

.....which has proven to be a bit hit with everyone whenever it is held.

We had a special visitor during the year, Rhonda from Down to Earth.  She and her hubby Hanno drove down from the Sunshine Coast and they just missed the freezing weather as it had snowed in Stanthorpe the day before.

Keeping chooks must be very popular in Toowoomba as the Keeping Backyard Chooks workshop was extremely well attended. We have learned how to make our own natural cleaning products as well as beauty products, how to garden organically, sew hexagons and the list goes on.

Our final event of the year will feature Christmas decorations and wrapping ideas and there will be various workshops going on during the morning as well as our Secret Santa. Below are the details about the morning if you live in the region or are visiting and would like to come along. Everyone is most welcome.

Christmas Decorations and Wrapping ideas

Date: 21 November
Time: 10-12 noon
Cost: Free
Where: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 23 Glenvale Road, Toowoomba.

What: This free event will be a mixture of workshops, demonstrations and displays of a whole variety of different ideas for Christmas decorations and wrapping ideas.

As it is our last event for the year instead of our normal swap we are going to have a Secret Santa.  If you would like to be involved please bring a small, wrapped, handmade or homegrown gift up to the value of $5 and we will have some fun exchanging gifts.

Also bring along a small plate of food to share for morning tea.

  2. Phil, I had to look up where Kallangur is. :-) You would be most welcome at one of our workshops. They should start up again in February after the Christmas holidays. They are usually held on the third Saturday of the month.
