We don't have cows but there is plenty of other wildlife around that competes for the berries, especially the jolly birds.Nanna Chelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07500527266771727074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556636739806282968.post-42987479116885747002013-12-30T20:12:38.614+10:002013-12-30T20:12:38.614+10:00Tania, I checked out Lifeline for some spoons toda...Tania, I checked out Lifeline for some spoons today but one shop only had stainless steel ones and I believe it is harder to flatten them but I got a couple at another Lifeline shop after I asked if they had any as, apparently they 'walk' so they weren't with the other cutlery. Hope your new berries do better than mine, the mulberries the cows manage to eat, and everything else takes forever to get going.DbrhH.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13052036567121618203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556636739806282968.post-71603733492280110092013-12-29T14:07:38.965+10:002013-12-29T14:07:38.965+10:00Another great idea Nanna Chel, those spoon markers...Another great idea Nanna Chel, those spoon markers look fabulous!Taniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10176661940614462611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556636739806282968.post-79127636764254267982013-12-29T11:50:51.856+10:002013-12-29T11:50:51.856+10:00Very hot up here Nanna Chel. It's lost all of its leaves but I see a new shoot so hopefully it will come back :) Would love a compost tumbler...one day!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14839024984118135715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556636739806282968.post-29421844334955351272013-12-29T09:21:49.830+10:002013-12-29T09:21:49.830+10:00Barb, we bought ours from Bunnings a few months ag...Barb, we bought ours from Bunnings a few months ago. I believe it is easier to flatten silver spoons rather than stainless steel so I will have to check out the Op Shops too. Mum did have heaps of silver cutlery but I guess my sister gave it to the Op Shop when she was cleaning things out. We have the house closed up now and the blinds and curtains pulled and getting ready for the scorcher. It looks like we will be having a week of it at least! :-(Nanna Chelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07500527266771727074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1556636739806282968.post-77260382691744036782013-12-29T09:09:56.935+10:002013-12-29T09:09:56.935+10:00Hi Chel, I'm interested in those tumblers, the...Hi Chel, I'm interested in those tumblers, they beat the pants off turning manually. I would like to have a go at those spoons but getting the raw materials might be a problem. I'll have to look in the 2nd hand shops some more. Hope you don't melt today, will be a scorcher!<br />BarbBarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15511242657757784812noreply@blogger.com
