The Old Dairy Shop is open for business!

You may have read on my posts about our Simple Living Toowoomba workshops that a couple were presented by Mandy from The Old Dairy. Well...Mandy has been dreaming about opening up a shop for some time and has just announced on her blog that is is now open and ready for business.

There are a variety of items for sale in the shop including Mandy's fabulous soaps which I can guarantee are very good quality...

...as well as her soy candles which she showed us how to make at our last Simple Living Toowoomba workshop.

The shop will open from Thursday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. If you are unable to come during those hours then you can ring Mandy on 07 46975282 and make a time which is suitable to both of you so that you can browse through her shop.

If you are heading down to the shop from Toowoomba then go down the Flagstone Creek Road which runs off Spring Street and also Rowbotham Street. There are signs to The Barn along there and if you follow them Mandy is 3.7kms past the rustic restaurant where you can call into on the way to or from the shop if you wish as it is also open on Friday and Saturday (as well as Sunday). You could have a casual brekky there and then head down to Mandy's shop which would make for a very pleasant morning.

Mandy also has an Etsy shop which is currently selling clay tags, handmade dishcloths and facecloths...

 ...her handmade cold pressed soap...

 ...these fabulous vintage cake stands...

...and her 100% soy candles.

So if you would like to buy some quality handmade items then head down to The Old Dairy Shop and take a look at Mandy's wares. I am sure you won't be disappointed. If you are coming from Brisbane or the Lockyer Valley then I am sure Mandy will be able to direct you if you give her a ring.

I wish Mandy all the best in her new venture and I am sure it will be a huge success.

UPDATE: Mandy's official opening date is Thursday 29th January after Queensland schools start back for 2015.

is she actually in an old dairy? that would be awesome too, especially if she knew the history, would make a great little tour.

  6. The suitcase of soaps is a ripper. Pity I am in NSW, looks like a great place to pop into. My parents live in QLD, so I will certainly swing past when I am up next.

  9. Someday I have to get to Australia- I will need to explain to hubby that I want to go to all the shops I read about on blogs and don't need to see the tourist things!! Forget the Sydney opera house and let me go to the old dairy, it sounds more fun! Sigh...
