Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all my readers wherever in the world you are! For many the weekend will centre around Resurrection Sunday and for others, especially here in Australia, it will be a time to go camping, visit relatives or just catch up on jobs around the house during the four day break.

It has been a quiet weekend for us and tomorrow after church we will have lunch with my sister before heading back home to do some work in the garden as there are brassicas to plant now that it is getting cooler.

Storms have just passed through our area and more rain is forecast for tomorrow so hopefully there will be a chance to do some planting.

When the storm started it was still quite hot and muggy so we stood on the front verandah watching the falling rain....

...and the poor spider whose web was being pelted by rain and he was getting lower and lower until he eventually was able to shelter under the hydrangea leaves. Just as well I didn't get around to pruning the hydrangea bush as it gave him a bit of protection from the rain which didn't ease up for a couple of hours.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

  1. And Easter Blessings to you and yours as well! We had a leisurely lunch with family and friends too although all our girls are off in various places so it was just mainly the 'oldies', lol.

  2. Maria, it was very quiet here as we just had lunch with my sister after church and then it was home again and I felt like a snooze because of all the overcast weather of the last couple of days.
