Our Christmas baby has arrived!
After a very long wait our Christmas baby has finally arrived...all 8lb 4ozs of him! He is a lot bigger than his sisters were at birth. It feels strange holding a newborn again after four years but he is very cute and was looking around at times at his sisters and probably thinking to himself that they were such a noisy pair :-)
Of course they think he is just wonderful and were able to give him a hug at long last. Nanna got to hold him too to do a bit of bonding. He will be several months old when I visit the next time and it was lovely to see one of my grandchildren on the actual day they were born. My girl is tired after all her hard work this morning and is having a well earned rest...well as much as you can rest in a busy hospital. Dad is exhausted too of course :-)
