Homemade Cleaning Products Presentation ~ Simple Living Toowoomba

Once again we have a great and informative Simple Living Toowoomba workshop coming up on the 17th October. There won't be a workshop in September due to the school holidays and the Carnival of Flowers as it will be a busy time for everyone.

Racheal will be demonstrating how to make a variety of cleaning products including:
Washing soda and liquid soap
Laundry powder
Glass cleaner
Softscrub for ceramic surfaces, sinks and benches
Mould and mildew remover
Gunk/label remover
Furniture polish for timber
Oven cleaner
Multipurpose spray

So come along and join us if you would be interested in making these products. We will be having our handmade and homegrown swap before the workshop. Everyone is most welcome to join in the swap so bring along one to five items and you can swap the same number of items. All items need to be on the table by 9.45am.
The workshop will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 23 Glenvale Road just behind Maccas which is diagonally across from Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre. The workshop will start after the swap at 10am and will finish at approximately 12 noon. Cost is $5. You can book in here.
Please RSVP by 15th October.

Also our Christmas Decorations and Wrapping Ideas morning will be held on the 21st November from 10am to noon. This will be our last get-together of the year and will be free. We will be holding a mixture of workshops, demonstrations and displays of a whole variety of different ideas for Christmas decorations and wrapping ideas.

We will also be having a Secret Santa instead of a swap and if you would like to be involved please bring along a small, wrapped, handmade or homegrown gift up to the value of $5 and we will have fun exchanging gifts.
Please bring along a small plate of food to share for morning tea.
RSVP 18th November

That will take us to the end of the year. We have had some great workshops this year and have learned a lot. I know some readers really want to have a similar group in their area so why not start up one yourself. We only had three at our first workshop!

  4. Those Christmas angels are the best thing I have seen in a long time - so doing that this Christmas. Sigh about the workshop.
