I came across an advertisement recently for cheesemaking and sourdough workshops presented by Elisabeth Felkonia from Permaculture Real Food. They will be held in the Drayton Hall, Toowoomba on the 17th January but, if you have a look at her website, she will presenting the workshops in other areas as well.
We did have a cheesemaking workshop when we had our Simple Living Toowoomba group and you can read about it here. It was a great workshop and Ron taught us how to make Haloumi, Ricotta and Paneer cheese.
We also had an informative sourdough workshop presented by our Chris and you can find the details here. In the photo is the sourdough I made using a recipe from Home Joys.
I just thought some of my Queensland readers would like to know about the workshops. I think they sell out quite quickly so get in early if you would like to attend.

Thanks for the comment on my blog post today [Australia Day] I want to get good at making mozzarella cheese. I've made it a few times and it's been hit and miss so just need to keep trying. Your cheese making workshop would have been great. Kathy
