I have been MIA on this blog lately but I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Easter. We don't do the whole chocolate egg thing here as neither of us need to put on more weight at our age and I believe chocolate is quite expensive to buy at the moment anyway....like everything else in the supermarket.
I haven't been active in the garden lately as there has been some drama going on here but, thankfully, some plants just seem to flower without any help from me like the beautiful Hippiastrums that my hubby planted along the driveway.
This beautiful Geranium never lets me down and I have given away so many cuttings from this plant.
Does anyone know what this plant is? It just appeared this year for the first time so I am unsure where it came from. We often put in plants that are given to us and then forget about them till they flower. Oops!
Anyway, I hope everyone is keeping well and happy. Things are a bit dire at the moment with the fuel shortage and the cost of food in the supermarkets which means it is extremely hard for those with growing families to make ends meet. We are fortunate that we have always lived frugally and are used to that way of life. Hang in there everyone!
Happy Easter!
